Ten Pin Bowling Page
Lodge St. Barchan first organised a ten pin bowling challenge with Lodges Union and
Crown No. 307 and Lodge Inchinnan No. 1405 in 1990. Unfortunately this annual event
came to an abrupt halt in 1997 when the local bowling alley was closed.
With ten pin bowling now available at X-Scape in Renfrew a challenge was issued to Lodges Union and Crown No. 307 and Lodge Prince of Wales No. 426.
The competition took place on Friday 25th March 2011 where Bro. Robert Main RWM captained his teammates Harry Bain, Hugh Blackburn, Stuart Blackburn, Eddie Findlay and Les Meneely to victory.
Grateful thanks are due to RWM Bro. Frank Slack and the brethren from Lodge Prince of Wales for their hospitality after the event and let's hope that this can once again become an annual event in our diaries.
